ABOUT ME
Ehsan Mahmood
I am Ehsan Mahmood, currently in the final year of my bachelor’s degree in University of Technology Sydney, majoring in Mechatronic Engineering. As I have been an enthusiastic about mechanics of machines since high school, I was convinced to pursue my career as a Mechatronics Engineer as it is an innovation focused profession. As a Result, I got enrolled to Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at University of Technology, Sydney in 2016 after completing my Advanced Diploma of Engineering from UTS Insearch. Since then I have been developing my knowledge and skill set to be well equipped as professional Mechatronic Engineer with satisfactory performance on my subjects.
As my course progressed, my focus was drawn to automation and more specifically on development of autonomous systems. In recent couple of years with the remarkable facilities on UTS including hi-tech labs and opportunity to work on projects that challenged my knowledge and skillsets. Recently, I completed a year-long research project successfully on Interactive aerial-ground robot cooperative navigation system mentored under a reputed academic at UTS. As a result, I feel confident to contribute on industrial arena with my skills and develop a successful career as a Mechatronic Engineer.
Experiences of contributing on different projects with a vast range of skillset that stretches from 3D Modelling, rapid prototyping to programming embedded systems and robotic manipulators of complex designs, I am quite confident about offering my skillset to contribute to the industry.

Ehsan is my student in Sensors and Control for Mechatronic Systems. Mohammad did quite well in the subject, especially for the hand-on activities and group projects. His practice and applied skills are pretty excellent. His group project on "Vision Controlled Numbered Block Sorting Dobot Magician" was really amazing.

In his capstone project, Ehsan tackled a challenging topic of the coordination between autonomous drones and ground robots. Ehsan did a great job fulfilling the requirements of his capstone project and made valuable contributions to the research team.
